By downloading, installing, accessing, or using SubDebt Manager ("the Application"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, do not install or use the Application.
2. Description of the Application
SubDebt Manager is an offline-first personal financial management utility designed to help individuals record recurring subscription payments, personal debts, credit ledgers, and day-to-day expenditures.
Important Financial Disclaimer: SubDebt Manager is a self-directed organizational tool. It does NOT provide financial, tax, investment, accounting, or legal advice. The Application does not link directly to banking institutions or execute monetary wire transfers. You are solely responsible for verifying the accuracy of entries and managing your financial commitments.
3. User Responsibility & Local Backups
Because SubDebt Manager does not operate cloud servers or centralized backup mechanisms:
- You are solely responsible for creating and safely storing regular backups of your financial records using the built-in JSON / CSV export features.
- We are not liable for data loss arising from device damage, loss, theft, factory resets, operating system upgrades, or app uninstalls.
- Enabling biometric lock (fingerprint / face unlock) is recommended to protect your records from unauthorized local physical access.
4. Subscription Cancellation Links
The Application provides quick links and formal cancellation templates to help you manage third-party subscriptions (such as streaming platforms, software licenses, or memberships).
- SubDebt Manager does not have the ability to automatically modify or cancel accounts with third-party service providers on your behalf.
- Final confirmation of subscription termination rests between you and the respective third-party merchant.
5. Open Source Software License
SubDebt Manager is open-source software. You may inspect, modify, and distribute the code in accordance with the terms of the project's license hosted on our GitHub repository.
6. Disclaimer of Warranties
THE APPLICATION IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE APPLICATION WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, OR FREE OF VULNERABILITIES.
