SubDebt Manager operates 100% offline. We do not operate user accounts, cloud databases, tracking SDKs, analytics frameworks, advertising networks, or third-party behavioral telemetry. All data entered into the application remains solely on your device.
2. Information Collection and Storage
When using SubDebt Manager, you may record sensitive financial data including:
- Recurring subscription details (service names, billing amounts, renewal cycles, renewal dates).
- Peer-to-peer debts and loans (borrower/lender names, principal amounts, interest notes, due dates).
- Daily income, expense, and transaction logs.
- Receipt photo attachments captured via your camera or selected from your gallery.
- Custom categories, visual themes, and local currency preferences.
Storage Location: All recorded items are stored locally in the application's isolated sandboxed storage (Android AsyncStorage and secure local directories). This information is never transmitted to, inspected by, or stored on external servers owned by us or any third party.
3. Device Permissions and Usage
SubDebt Manager requests only the minimal hardware and operating system permissions required for core features:

4. Third-Party Services and External Links
SubDebt Manager does not bundle analytics trackers, advertising IDs (AAID), or social login SDKs. Interactions with third parties are limited to:
- Exchange Rate API (Optional): If you choose to convert currencies, the app may query public currency conversion rates via an API. This request transmits only the currency symbols (e.g. USD to EUR) and contains zero personal, financial, or device identifier data.
- Direct Cancellation Links: The Subscription Cancellation assistant provides direct web links to official subscription management portals (e.g., Google Play, Apple, Netflix, Spotify). Clicking these links opens your device's external web browser under the respective service's terms and privacy policies.
5. Data Backup, Export, and Deletion
You retain absolute ownership and control over your records at all times:
- JSON & CSV Export: You can export full backups or spreadsheets at any time via Settings > Data Management. Exports use the secure Android system file provider.
- Complete Data Erasure: You can wipe all stored records immediately by selecting "Erase All Data" within Settings, or by clearing storage through Android Settings > Apps > SubDebt > Clear Storage.
- Uninstalling the App: Because no cloud sync exists, uninstalling the application permanently deletes all local records from your device unless you previously generated an export file.

6. Children's Privacy
SubDebt Manager does not knowingly collect, solicit, or maintain personal information from children under the age of 13. Since no personal data is collected or transmitted remotely, the application is inherently safe for users of all ages.
